My Mother & Father have been in the property industry since 1982 – Buying, Selling and Renting homes – I have a vast amount of experience, seeing through many different climates over many years in the property industry – I have been a mortgage broker and a Landlord myself in the past before I decided to set up Birchills Estate Agents – I know how important it is upon finding the right tenants for our clients properties and most importantly helping our clients feel comfortable with the Selling & Lettings process.
What advice would you give Landlords / Tenants?
Landlords – Make sure all legal documentation, any required licences and certificates are up to date on your properties – finding the right tenant/s for your property – how do you feel about the proposed tenants ? – meet the tenants before contracts are signed – If Birchills have any doubts at all in respect to the tenant/s we would not recommend them to you – always make sure you are happy with the tenant/s references.
Tenants – Making sure the property you choose is the correct size for your household/s – you disclose all or any extra requirements you wish for before agreeing to move forward on your new home – you disclose the correct number of people wishing to move in – and how and if they are related to each other.
How would you describe your current role and responsibilities?
I am the proud owner of Birchills Estate Agents and have never looked back since taking the leap upon setting up Birchills back in January 2015 – I would describe myself as a very hands on managing director in all aspects of the Business upon guiding our Team through the many different climates we have foreseen.
What do you enjoy about your role at Birchills?
Building our Award Winning reputation – I love winning new business and showing our clients we can achieve the best prices that they have been wishing for.
What challenges do you see facing the property industry?
There will always be different challenges to overcome in the property industry – We at Birchills are excellent at moving with the times and making sure we keep people moving through any given market.
What is the one thing within the property industry that your clients have to deal with that you would like to fix?
We find different clients can have many different concerns and questions – Birchills will always endeavour to adapt our help to any future or past concerns and or questions our clients may have.
What’s your favourite movie / tv series?
Laughter is the best medicine – Jim Carey films are a real favourite of mine – The Mask is one of many !
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I love leading a healthy lifestyle, Regular exercise/Healthy diet – Spending quality time with my family.
